| Lighthouse Philosophy: |
The philosophy of Lighthouse Christian
Academy is based on our belief that God is the author of all truth
and that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. Our
social goal is to provide the student with a Christian worldview.
He/She will develop a proper understanding and acceptance of his/her
role in life while at home, work, play, or worship through the Christian
concept of love. Our academic goal is to foster scholastic excellence
and to enable the student to pursue the post-secondary education of
his/her choosing.
The student will achieve skills in creative and critical thinking
by using the best-integrated curriculum and technology available.
Our spiritual goal is to incorporate Biblical doctrine and principles
so that each student is educated completely in the spiritual, mental,
intellectual, physical, social, and emotional aspects of his/her life.
We believe the training of children is the primary responsibility
of the parents.
Lighthouse Christian Academy cooperates closely with the parents in
the formal education and development of the student. |

| Our Statement of Faith: |
We believe the Bible to be the
only inspired Word of God and our standard for faith and practice.
We believe that there is one God as revealed in the Bible, eternally
existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the
Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, God’s eternal Son, in His
Virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious
and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection,
in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal
return to power and glory. We believe that for the salvation of lost
and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit Who dwells in the Christian
enabling him to live a Godly life. We believe in the resurrection
of both the saved and the lost—those who are saved unto the resurrection
of life and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus
Christ. |
